We know that Austin has a plethora of talented hair and makeup artists, and we are honored you have picked us for your wedding day needs.  With only a few handpicked top artists, we are a small boutique studio that specializes in on location bridal hair and makeup. We pride ourselves on our one-on-one attention we can offer our brides. We take our time and accept nothing less than perfection. Most brides find themselves overwhelmed with stress and making sure that they stay on time. Ladies that is what makes Jessica Roop Beauty & Boudoir so great, we bring the salon to your location and it is our responsibility to ensure that all your beauty needs stay within the desired time frame you choose. We can handle your wedding hair and wedding makeup for any size wedding, big or small. 

Do you travel to me?
Yes, we provide on-location service for wedding day and event (travel fee may apply). Please inquire for more information on our traveling policy and out-of-county or destination services

Do you ever offer any discounts or coupons?
Occasionally we do offer exclusive discounts on boudoir to our Instagram, Facebook and Newsletter followers. Follow us and you will be in on the action too! Our brides always get something special to use for our boudoir photography services as well. 

Do you have a minimum service requirement?
We have a 10 service minimum to book during peak season and a 5 service minimum per artist. The bride’s day of services are included in that minimum. 

We offer Elopement and Small wedding party packages for weddings that are booked June 1st-August 31st or weddings booked Monday-Thursday. These do not have a minimum. Click here to learn more about these packages. 

Do I need to schedule a trial?
To help acquire your dream wedding look, we do require that all bride’s schedule a hair and/or makeup trial for their booked services. Trials are booked weekdays Monday-Thursday. If you require a weekend trial, an added fee may apply. 

What products do you use?
All our artists have personally built kits with their favourite products. All our hair and makeup artists only ever use premium branded products such as MAC, Urban Decay, Morphe, Nars, Stila, Kenra, Moroccan oil, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Temptu to name a few. 

Do you offer airbrush makeup?
Yes, all of our makeup artists are trained in airbrush makeup and its included with the bride and bridesmaids makeup service. Airbrush is not always ideal for all skin types, your artist can consult with you on whether you are a good candidate for it. You can learn more about airbrush makeup here. 

How far in advance should I reserve my date?
Wedding Hair & Makeup: Our busy season and popular dates book up fast. For wedding hair and makeup we always recommend reserving your date 6-12 months in advance.

Boudoir: We recommend booking your boudoir shoot at least 2-4 months in advance to the date you need products by. Scheduling and prepping for the shoot, photo production, viewing and product ordering, and then product production can all take time. This 2-4 month cushion guarantees we can get your items to you on time.

How do I book my date?
If you are interested in using our services for your wedding day, a signed contract and 50% booking fee is due to reserve your wedding date. The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 1 week prior to the event date. 

What form of payment do you accept?
We accept payment in cash, check, venmo, or credit card.

Can my bridal party make separate payments?
No. If your bridal party will be paying for their services, please have them pay you directly. We only accept ONE transaction for the balance.

Is gratuity included?
Yes! An 18% gratuity will be added to the final balance which is due 2 weeks prior to your event. The gratuity amount will be added to the proposal and will include gratuity for the trial.
